I moved to Florida a couple of years ago. Today I played tennis with a long time commercial real estate friend visiting Florida from Colorado. He informed me of Steve's passing. I was devestated. Steve was a person that I admired so much for how nice he was to me over 15 years interacting together. As a friend said to me which I completely agree with, "Steve was always the smartest person in the room". It always and will be a personal friend that I admire forever.
So very sad to hear this news. I knew Steve when I covered real estate for the Denver Post and found him to be an incredible ambassador for his industry. Always friendly and cheerful and just so eager to be helpful. He will be missed.
