Molly was one of the first professional colleagues I met when moving back to Colorado from a short-time living in Arizona and California. Her warmth, gracious welcoming and joyful spirit immediately gave me the sense that I had come home again. Molly's smile and joyful soul will be forever part of my memories. My love and condolences to her family and close friends accompany this tribute.

My heartfelt condolences are with Molly's family and friends.
I had the honor of working with her as a funder when she was at McKee. I served The Colorado Trust as Senior Vice President, so Molly and I joined forces to improve the spectrum of prenatal, labor and delivery care for the region.
I loved her infectious energy, her unparalleled dedication and her piercing intelligence. Plus, she was great fun to be with, and tireless in her pursuit of providing state-of-the-science services to those in need.
She has left us too soon.
May the many memories of an exceptional woman comfort all who loved her.

Molly and I sat beside one another at a fundraising conference and by the end of the day, became fast friends. Her joyful spirit and compassion are what I recall most. We enjoyed many lunches and calls thereafter. I was blessed to know her. I wish you all God’s peace.

Stevenson Family,
I am going to miss, and already miss, my dear, dear friend, Molly. I loved laughing with Molly and loved hearing her wisdom and loved navigating the nurturing of adopted daughters from China together. Sooo many swim parties, lunches at McDonalds, movies and a decade of birthday celebrations. I am reminded we all have to be ready for God’s call. Molly’s legacy is one of a determined and loving soul whose path was full of humor. She changed the world and I am so grateful for Molly, Praying God rests His loving hand on your hearts. Lyndal

Sending love and care to Bill and the children Molly loved so very much.
I am saddened by the shocking news and my heart goes out to the man who stole Molly’s heart years ago and holds it forever. You two were the sweetest power couple I know. You cared about all children- not just your own, as evidenced by the Caring Award you funded through Cherry Creek Schools Foundation. This was my personal and professional introduction to you both and the start of a special friendship.
Molly became a “touchstone” friend to me over the last 10 years. Our paths crossed often in professional settings- and we agreed on many things, and found humor in all things- including our desire to keep working when most of our peers were retiring. She stayed in touch with well placed phone calls- seemingly knowing when I needed to talk. She was a source of great support to me and boosted my spirits with every phone call, coffee date- and oh how we loved to whine over wine!
The last time we spoke was early last summer. We talked about healthcare, nursing care and how neither of us wanted to linger. Apparently, she kept her word- she always did!
Molly will be missed. She wasn’t done making a difference but a higher calling prevailed. She leaves a legacy of love for her family that crept into every conversation I had with her.
Please let me know if I can help in any way. She would have been the first to offer that to my family, I am sure.
God Bless.

I never had the chance to meet Molly in person but I am very good friends with Mamie and have been lucky enough to meet and enjoy a Blazers game with Bill and Sophia. Molly sounded like a wonderful person based on the many stories I have heard Mamie tell, as well as the lovely tribute that Bill has written. I know that she raised 2 amazing girls and that tells me everything I need to know!
I want to send all of my love to the Stevenson family. I am thinking about you during this difficult time.
Sincerely,

I’m so sorry to hear of Molly’s passing. We were fundraising colleagues, I also served at the McKee Medical Center Foundation. She was one of the most enthusiastic, passionate and professional fundraisers I have ever known in Colorado. I was pleased to be not only a colleague and mentor with Molly, but also a Working Mom-Pal; we both have children about the same ages. Sophia was the center of many conversations; she was thrilled to become the mother of another young child! Molly’s expertise as a fundraiser, community activist and her passion for motherhood will be missed. I am so sad for you; my sympathies and condolences to you all on your heartbreaking loss.

No other words would have described Molly better. She was a friend and mentor to me. I will miss her very much. Whenever we talked with each other, it was like we saw each other the day before. Conversation was so easy with her because we had so many similar interests. Additionally, I valued her love of people and non-judgmental ways. As Bill described, Molly was a fine person who I aspired to be like. She will be missed and the light in the world is a little darker without her here. At the same time, I believe she has new power in heaven. Love to the Stevenson family!
