I remember back in 1993 when I was having chemotherapy, my husband, Doug, and I were visiting Diane and Bill in Denver. I believe Diane, our sister-in-law Carol and I were “window” shopping at the Cherry Creek mall. I found some dishes that I really liked but did not buy. About a week after we got home a package arrived. It was that set of dishes from Jeanne and Dr Balkin and Diane and Bill! I was so excited and very touched by their thoughtfulness. What a wonderful memory!
