I want to start off by passing my sincerest condolences to your family. I have not read a newspaper in over a year and happened upon the notice last Friday while getting a pastrami sandwhich, which of course Sandy introduced me to upon our first meeting (lol). I cannot understand how I would happen upon the posting, other than Sandy saying goodbye. I loved Sandy very much. I had the priveledge of working under him for about two years and I could not have asked for a better mentor, boss, and father type figure in my life. He was always the optimist with me and always pushed me in the right direction. I am deeply saddened that he is gone, but he will never be forgotten. Thank you Sandy for being one of the most inspiring people in my life. I will never forget you and what you gave to me.
