Obituary of Bernard Lips

Bernard Lips, passed, Tuesday, July 5th in Aurora; He was born in Kansas City, Jan. 17, 1925 and married Rose Chaitman on Nov. 10, 1946. Around 1951-1952 they moved to Denver; Bernard was preceded in death by Rose and his brother, Jack; He was a loving father to Michael Lips, San Francisco, CA, Renee Bay, Decorah, IA and Elliott Lips, Salt Lake City, UT; A beloved grandfather to Jonathan Lips, Brian Bay, Erik Bay and Kate Lips; He is also survived by Sister-in-laws Esther Lips, Silver Spring, MD and Betty Freedman, Denver, nieces Gail Kirschbaum, Denver and Darlene Raphi, Jerusalem and many other nieces and nephews;  Bernard was a gentle and kind man liked by many and he enjoyed movies, rides to the mountains and playing cards. He lovingly tended to his late ailing mother, Dora and cared deeply for his late mother-in-law, Jeannette. A graveside service will be held, Wednesday, 3:00pm, Rose Hill Cemetery.
