Obituary of Louis Dubin
Louis I. Dubin D.D.S. 92born June 16 1914 in Philadelphia PA. He passed away September 26 2006 in Columbus Ohio. His loving wife Marcella to whom he was married for 56 years preceded him in death. He was the son of Israel and Annie D. Dubin. Lou is survived by his daughters Myndel (Norman) Pozner Bette Jo (Laurence) Stempel and Debra Wingfield his brother Frank (Charlotte) Dubin brother-in-law Irwin(Barbara) Sunshine 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was an active member of Congregation Emanuel for over 50 years and served as an usher on numerous occasions. After the death of his wife he volunteered with the Colorado Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association. He was also a member of the ADA CDA American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Columbine Masonic Lodge Phi Sigma Delta Fraternity and Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. Lou moved to Denver in 1932 with his family. He graduated from Denver North HS earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado and his DDS from Creighton University School of Dentistry. He served in the Army during WWII. He was a practicing pediatric dentist for 60 years and was respected by his peers and adored by his patients. Lou was a kind caring gentleman who always wanted to take care of others before himself. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Colorado Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association 455 Sherman #500 Denver Colorado 80203.
